What do you do at Calvary?

I work with Pastor Zach to integrate music into worship services for each week, based on the lectionary cycle of readings. Our hymnals, Evangelical Lutheran Worship and All Creation Sings provide music sources for each week. I use organ and piano accompaniment for congregational singing and cantor or ensemble performances. The goal is to use the music to enhance congregational worship!

I love what I do because…

What I love most is the variety of the services each week that helps define the themes of each season. 

When I’m not at Calvary…

I spend many hours each week practicing on the piano and organ at home. I also enjoy looking for new music. In between all the music I am busy with household chores and also being subject to the whims of the family dog and cat. They’ve got me well trained!
