In Memoriam
The Rev. Stanley H. Knull
August 14, 1928 - December 30, 2025
From 1972 to 1995, the Rev. Stanley Knull was called to Calvary Lutheran Church as pastor: to proclaim God’s word, to baptize and teach, to announce God’s forgiveness, and to preside at the Lord’s table. With the gospel, he have comforted us in times of sickness and trouble, and at the death of our loved ones. Sharing our joys and sorrows, he was important to our life together in the church of Jesus Christ, in our service to this community, and in God’s mission to the whole world.
Prayer
O God, we remember with thanksgiving
those who have loved and served you on earth,
who now rest from their labors, especially Pastor Knull.
Keep us in union with all your saints,
and bring us with them to the joyous feast of heaven;
through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
Amen.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
